Das Hotel Santa Caterina wurde erst unlängst von einem Wohnhaus einer Patrizierfamilie aus dem 18. Jhd. in ein kleines, gemütliches Hotel umgebaut. Es befindet sich nur wenige Meter außerhalb der "Porta Romana", nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Piazza del Campo. Die 22 Zimmer, alle mit Badezimmer, Telefon, Minibar, Klimaanlage und Satelliten-Tv ausgestattet sind, wie auch die gemeinsamen Aufenthaltsräume im freundlichen, antiken, toskanischen Stil eingerichtet. Der große, luxuriose Garten mit Glasveranda, in der das Frühstück serviert wird, bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf die sienesische Landschaft. Die elegante, aber gleichzeitig familiäre Atmosphäre und die hervorragende Lage machen das Hotel zum idealen Platz für einen netten, romantischen Aufenthalt in Siena.
