General Information
Casanova is a typical Tuscan construction which promotes a perfect equilibrium between art and nature. The surrounding countryside is in continual change, following the timeless march of the seasons and agriculture. In this way, visitors to the area at different times of the year will discover constantly transformed scenery whose colours may vary from the golden yellow of the summer to the bright green of the spring and the thousands of shades of red and brown which characterise autumn .
The Hotel Residence Casanova has 70 rooms, “Comfort” and “Superior ” to cater for all our guests requirements. Holidays can be spent in absolute quite and relax in the Hotel with treatment of Half board in our Restaurant La Taverna del Barbarossa or if you prefer you can reserve an apartment to spent you holidays in total tranquillity with your family.
The Comfort area was build in 1993 and is composed, on the second floor, of 14 Comfort rooms and on the ground floor, of 26 split level Junior Suite with view on the valley or on the garden.
All rooms are equipped with hair-dryer, mini bar, safe, Sat- TV and telephone.
Each Junior Suites has sleeping capacity of 4 people is equipped with Sat-TV, telephone, safe and can be reserved also like an apartment as for is composed of: a lounge–dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, sofa-bed for two people, the double bed and bathroom with hydromassage shower and hairdryer are situated on the gallery.
Each Junior Suite has two entrances: one on the hotel corridor and the other on your private terrace with table, chairs and beach umbrella.
The Superior area realized in 2001, is made up of bedrooms and one or two-room apartments, the area is built only with ecological materials and is provided of a electromagnetic smog avoid system. All rooms and apartments has private bathrooms with hydro-massage baths or showers, hair-dryers, mini bar, safe, Sat-TV, telephone, Internet connection, air-conditioning, sound-proofed system, private terrace or balcony with table, chairs and beach umbrella.
The One room apartment is composed of one bed room equipped with a cooking area and bathroom with hydromassage bath.
The two room- apartments are composed of two separate bed rooms both with private bath rooms with bath or shower hydromassage in one of the room there is the wardrobe with inside the kitchen.
The simple and elegant furnishing evokes the traditional warmth of Tuscan houses with quality wooden furniture, terracotta floors and curtains and rugs which create a snug cosy atmosphere.
For those who want the best, we are proud to be able to offer our beautiful Superior Suite whose 5 windows look out onto a 180° panorama of the Val d’ Orcia. It also boasts a wonderful, fully-equipped 25m² balcony.
